Welcome to ClingToYourGuns.com!

On April 6, 2008, while discussing voters in the Midwest, Barack Obama said "it's not surprising then that they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy towards people who aren't like them... as a way to explain their frustrations."

Since Senator Obama seems to think that the Midwest is full of bitter racists who "cling to their guns", we'd like to take this opportunity to show him some of our favorite guns that we're currently clinging to!

I hunt and I fish. I think as the economy flattens it is going to become more important to be able to go get your own meat.
I ALSO think that the second amendment was not about hunting, but about keeping government in line, and protecting your own. I live far enough from town that if I needed to call 911, any incident would be long over before someone responded, so I will respond if necessary. I also think with the economy that defending your own will become more important.
